3rd Sunday in Advent

This week was a little unusal.

Due to a high number of children traditionally going away over Christmas at our Launceston congregation we decided to have their nativity worship service on this weekend. (So there worship service resembled what many people would experience at Christmas Eve...see Christmas eve)

Our Burnie and Devonport congregations had the readings and a worship service for the 3rd Sunday in Advent.
The theme for the 3rd Sunday in Advent: Living beyond today, focussed on eternity

Around the parish we sang the following:
LHS 2 O come, O come Immanuel
At 260 My soul is praising the Lord
At 341 If you're black or if you're white
At 158 Come Sing our praises loud
At 476 Here is bread
At 127 Because he lives
LHS 624 While Shepherds watched
